About Us
The background
Smoke Free Plymouth is part of One You Plymouth and the Wellbeing Team, a service commissioned, supported and funded by Plymouth City Council. Our parent organisation is Livewell Southwest, an independent, award-winning social enterprise providing integrated health and social care services for people across Plymouth, South Hams and West Devon.
Life expectancy in the UK is at record levels, but millions of Brits are spending their retirement in ill health. Living healthily in middle age can double your chances of being healthy when you are 70.

About Us
We offer free, friendly support to help you improve your physical and mental wellbeing.
Unhealthy habits like poor diet, lack of exercise, smoking, and drinking too much alcohol contribute to 40% of deaths in England. Making small changes now can prevent serious illnesses like diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.
Our team works across Plymouth in community and healthcare settings, offering drop-ins and appointments. We partner with local groups and are part of the Plymouth Alliance, helping people get the right support, in the right place, at the right time.

I thoroughly enjoy my role in administration because it allows me to support programmes that truly help change lives. Helping people take steps toward becoming smoke free means I get to be a part of their journey to better health and brighter futures. It is inspiring to see these positive changes and I am deeply grateful to be a part of that.
